To help you find what you need easily, my shop is divided into logical sections.

All Knife Scales are grouped by their thickness into:
0-8mm,   9-11mm,    11+mm  and    Penknife size
All my scales are Bookmatched Pairs (with minimal stock removed) and ready to use unless specified in the item description. Dimensions refer to actual item size - see individual listings for obtainable scale size. Remember to allow for your liner thickness when choosing.

Chris Naylor: Wenge and Buffalo Horn
Mark Routledge: Elm on Damascus

For stick tang blades, I offer  Blocks in the form of: General Blocks (all different sizes)    Scandi Blocks, (about 120x40x30mm)  and    Spacers and Firesteel Blocks  Use them as they are for stick tangs, or cut them into smaller sections for spacers, or even split them in two for bookmatched scales.

I now also sell   Steel / Flat Ground Stock

In the rest of the knifemaking section of my store, we have the other items which help to make the knifemaking experience a happy one:     Liners,     Bolsters and Spacers, including bulk packs of these. If they are listed - I have some, if they are not - I don't;   Buffalo Horn   in various shapes and forms such as blocks, tips, scales, bolsters and so on  Multi-Packs   which will include Taster Packs of unusual woods, Bulk Packs, Combos and Special Offers when they exist.  In the Leatherwork by Jean section you will find my own designs and hand work - Knife Sheaths, Tool Sheaths, Belt Pouches, Possibles Pouches and even the occasional Axe Sheath.

I present my offerings here with a deep sense of satisfaction, knowing that my wood is befitting of installation on knives which will last for generations. Some of my customer's knives are true works of art of showpiece quality.

Mark Routledge: Flooded Box Burr with brass

Choosing wood to marry with a blade is an art in itself. Finding the pair of scales or the block for the handle which will enhance a blade rather than overwhelm it is more important than first appears. If you need help in selecting a set of scales to go with a particular blade, I am very happy to assist you. Likewise - when you need advice on a species of wood for a specific application - if I can help you I will. Very often if I cannot help - I know someone who can.
