Some of the better things I have made - those I recorded in photos, anyway.

The artistic creations of knifemakers, turners, and carvers. Those who buy my wood from me make some of the most beautiful things - knives, bowls, pens, and other things, including the tiniest miniatures and elegant wood carvings. They have freely shared their photos with me, and allowed me to use them to enhance my new website. To all who contributed to my website - I thank you.

Things made from items that I have made - amongst other things, components for walking sticks (handles collars, shafts, etc) and replacements parts for use in restoration of old items, for example parasol handles and finials. There are times when my customers show me what they have done with my wares - it is wonderful to know that I am now a part of a regularly used walking stick, or even a restored Victorian parasol or piece of furniture.

Complete items include the many and varied items I make for artistic appreciation, or for use. Lacemakers use my bobbins, pin cushions and other lace making accessories. Cribbage players use my pegs while they entertain themselves with cards. Olives and other nice things are served in bowls I have carved, and bread is offered in bowls I have turned.

My bobbins and pincushions adorn lace pillows throughout the world, and the day I discovered that an Australian lacemaker had heard about my pincushions and bobbins from another Australian who owned some - that was the day I felt such pride. Over 300 of my paintings are in collections in more than 10 different countries, nearly 400 walking stick components are walking all over the world, and more than 500 people own bowls that I have turned. More than 2500 of my bobbins work on lace pillows, and nearly 300 pincushions, 100 pusher thimbles, 25 pin pots, 20 pillow bowls, 10 thread tidies and 75 leather thread hold downs are used in the making of lace in other people's homes. Nearly 50 knife sheaths, belt pouches, and possibles pouches are used by bushcrafters in the UK, South Africa and USA.

In ten years, my self-sustaining hobby has become a major part of my life, and my pride grows with each passing day that I grow in my skills and abilities. To those who have supported my hobbies - I give you my thanks.
