Some display stands tops are 'forms' which don't suit all hoods. My display stands do not have forms to hold the hood, they have a natural shaped palm nut as the 'shelf' which will fit most hoods. The hood itself merely slips over the top of the stand allowing you to either tighten the braces or leave them open, according to your personal choice.
