Designer Profile: Heather Reid

Take a thread and some pretty beads...

After playing with beads in her mother's handiwork box as a child, Heather started beading when her daughters attended ballet classes and soon landed up embellishing the costumes for the whole troupe. Since then, she has designed, stitched, and beaded her way through evening and formal wear, and stitched her own designs on wedding dresses.

By chance, she picked up a beading magazine while visiting family in England, and fell into making necklaces - starting with a Celini Rope in black, gold and bronze - colours she never normally wears!

She also makes earrings and ornaments and now designs beading patterns for sale. Exclusive to SheerJeannius, her designs are sure to please and will enhance your home and wardrobe.
