ACEO - Small art - affordable, collectable, beautiful.

I use the following mediums:

Pen and Wash: artists' quality watercolours on acid free 140lb (300gsm) paper. The ink I use is fade-proof and waterproof

Alkyd Oils: these are oils with an alkyd resin added which enables them to dry almost overnight, on acid free conservation quality map board

Acrylics on either acid free 140lb (300gsm) watercolour paper or acid free conservation quality map board

Some Interesting facts about ACEO:

ACEO (Art Cards, Editions and Originals) art can be in any media, including collage and what is known as 'altered art'.

They are always 3.5in x 2.5in in size. If they're different - they're not aceo.

ACEO as an art style developed out of the ATC (Art Trading Card) movement when artists started selling their art trading cards on Ebay.

Miniature art can take as long to create as a large painting, just because it's small does not mean it is 'quick'.

ACEO painting are frequently sold for over $350
