   permission to keep the information as hardcopy on file. This complies with the law re sales of knives to under18's, guidance from Wiltshire Trading Standards and the Data Protection Act.

• Information will be checked against date of birth records and the electoral role.
• Your document will be kept exclusively for purposes of showing compliance. The information will not be shared, sold, or used for any other purpose.
• This is a one-time process for new customers and those existing customers who I don't know for sure are over-18. Credit card ownership is no longer viewed as acceptable proof of age.
